Colin lives on Shooters Hill, South East London. He first studied Art at
Camberwell School of Art, 1958 - 1962 specialising in Painting, Lithography
and Illustration. He was awarded the National Diploma in Design in 1962.
Then from 1962 to 1964 he completed at two year post graduate course at
the Slade School of Fine Art, University of London. There he specialised in
Painting and Etching. He was awarded the Slade Diploma in 1964.

His art has always been very eclectic. His interests range from landscape paintings in
oils, watercolours and acrylics to pen and ink drawings. His inspiration comes mainly
from the landscapes of Kent in South East England especially the coastal areas of
Dungeness, Deal and Hastings.

Pottery has always been one of his many interests for many years. He works in mainly in
Stoneware producing domestic and functional pottery such as mugs and jugs etc. At present
he is teaching pottery and ceramics to adult students at Sidcup Adult Education
College, Sidcup Kent. He has recently been awarded a diploma in education (DTLLS) from 
Canterbury Christchurch University.

He has exhibited widely in London and the South East and continues to do so. For details
